Welcome to Journey 2 Paradise Photography. My name is Coral Zayas and I'm the photographer here at Journey 2 Paradise Photography. Photography has always been one of my hobbies and I'm turning my interests in philanthropy and business into a way to help raise funds for projects in Latin America.
During my undergrad at Elon University I became fascinated with educational development in Latin America and got the opportunity to attend the Clinton Foundation's Global Initiative University division conference in New Orleans, LA. While there I made a commitment to expand access to education in rural Latin America.
I have now teamed up with with Citizen Effect, a DC based NGO to make my dream a reality. I am helping to raise $1200 to fund a new multipurpose classroom in Ica, Peru. This area was devastated by an earthquake in 2007 and is badly in need of a new school. Each purchase provides a donation to Citizen Effect to fund this project in Peru.
All greeting card purchases include a $5.00 donation to Citizen Effect.
All 8 x 10 Matted Print purchases also include a $7.50 donation to Citizen Effect.
All 11 x 14 Matted Print purchases also include a $10 donation to Citizen Effect.
